Franchise Review 1 - Zoes' Kitchen
Don't you feel that going to a car service agency is like going to a general physician? You never know what to expect, there is a weird feeling in the pit of the stomach, and it cost you money. Well not always!
This Tuesday, I went to get the service C done for my car. I call it Romeo. I don't have a license plate with that name on, but I do plan to get it, very soon — just simple service C. After getting a loaner and handing off the key of my beloved Romeo to the service technician, I went back to work. I was expecting to get the car back by 1 o'clock in the afternoon simply because I had dropped it offa t 7 am. When no one called about Romeo up until 2:30, I decided to take a half day from work, pick my girls up and land at the agency. BUT not before a hearty lunch with my girls.

We looked around to find something good near the car agency. There were the franchises, nothing local mom-pop shops. We decided to go to Zoe's Kitchen. I have been to this franchise in a different state, Virginia. I liked the food here but stopped going once I ran through the options, it had started to feel monotonous.
The Zoe's Kitchen at Germantown, has a spacious sitting area, long windows which makes it brighter. There were not many people there at 2:30, which was great because we could talk, laugh and joke louder. As per the new eating out rule for 2019, we ordered two dishes - Energy Bowl (veggie) and Chicken Pita Wrap.
The food was good as I remembered, but it was not great. I felt that the Energy bowl needed more moisture of some sort. It felt a little dry, and things didn't come together for me. Chicken Pita Wrap came with cabbage slaw. It was a little bland for our taste. The food was fine, but it could have been great if the chefs at Zoe's Kitchen would have used a few other sides or ideas.
The idea that feels innovative and good is the artwork spread all around the sitting area. These are from the local elementary schools, kids have also written the thought behind their artwork. I like this idea.
